JT McCloud Gets 6A Sprint Double - Oklahoma State Meet Recap 2019

McCloud Flashes Speed In 100, 200 For 6A Titles

JT McCloud of Union won the 100 meters with 10.59, the 200 meters in 21.36 and helped his team win the 4x400 (3:20.09). McCloud is committed to play football at the University of Utah next year. 

Freshman Gentry Williams of Booker T Washington won the 6A 400 meters in 47.70. Williams also placed second in the 200 with 21.42. 

Another freshman, Deborah Mazzei of Jenks, won 6A titles in the 800 (2:14.63) and the 1,600 (5:01.51). Her twin sister Avery was second in the 1,600 meters and third in the 3,200 meters. 

Levi Gladd from Owasso won the 6A girls 400 meters in 56.83 seconds. She also ran a leg on the winning 4x800 relay. 

Alysheia Joseph from Edmond Memorial won the 100 meters in 12.10 and also was part of winning relays in the 4x100 (47.75) an 4x200 (1:41.81). 

Raymond Brass from Jenks won the hurdles double in 6A for the second consecutive year, clocking 14.33 and 37.99.

The best competition in 5A came in the boys high jump, where Keith Drapeau of Elgin Public edged Del City's Gregory Whittenberg on few misses after both cleared 6-feet-10.

The Del City boys and girls team both won Class 5A titles with identical scores of 100 points. 

In Clas 4A, Daphne Matthews of Heritage Hall ran a state-leading time of 2:11.16 to win the 800 meters. She also won the 400 meters in 57.80 and placed second in the 1,600. 

Sophomore Collier Madison of Hennessey thew a state-leading mark of 148-11 to win the 3A girls discus title. She was also third in the shot put. 

Carlos Vallejo from Chisholm won the 3A 800 (1:56.00) and 1,600 (4:31.03). 

Jessica Roberts of Fairland dominated the hurdles races in the 2A championships, clocking 14.88 to win the 100 hurdles and 44.79 to win the 300 hurdles. She also won the 100 meters in 12.58 seconds. 

The Pawhuska boys won all three relay races on the way to the 2A team title. 

Jessica Kissam of Garber won the Class 1A high jump with a clearance at 5-7. She also placed sixth in the 400 meters.

Class 5A - Del City boys 100 points, Del City girls 100 points RESULTS

Class 4A - Bristow boys 119 points, Weatherfold girls 121 points RESULTS

Class 3A - Marietta boys 83 points, Chisholm girls 97 points RESULTS

Class 2A - Pawhuska boys 85 points, Watonga girls 91 points RESULTS

Class 1A - Thomas Fay Custer boys 120 points, Boise City girls 125 points RESULTS
